WINTER 2025 Basketball

Players will represent their school to participate in weekly games against other Burbank/Stickney community schools.

Games will be on Saturdays @ The Reavis Fieldhouse 11AM-12PM Courts 1-4

11/22, 12/6, 12/20, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 2/7, 2/14

Cost: $165 *Includes reversible game jersey and shooting shirt.

*A weekly practice may or may not be added due to facility availability. TBD

Schools Participating:   Byrd, Maddock, Tobin, Frye, Luther Burbank, Kennedy, St. Alberts, Sahs, and other private/independent local schools.

*Other community private/independent school participants will be assigned to a team.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

Each team will get a 15-minute practice and warm up period prior to the game start. Games will consist of four 6-minute quarters. Players will get equal playing time the first 3 quarters and the first half of the 4th quarter.  The last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter will be at the coaches discretion. The clock stops for all free throws, the halfway mark of each quarter (for substitutions), and the last minute of each quarter for all dead balls and whistles. Teams receive 2 timeouts per game.

Based on the registration numbers, players will play either 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 on the small courts, or 5-on-5 on a modified sized full court.

*The focus of this league is to promote healthy community competition and sportsmanship. Teams will be coached by parent volunteers and/or Ram Basketball Junior Coaches. Ram Basketball Academy Head Coaches will be on the court at all times to ensure healthy competition and player/coach conduct. Scores will be kept each game. Season standings will  be tracked. No post season play.
